This is an intake adapter the work in junction with the Crankcase Breather Vent that is sold separately.

It was design to work with the factory and aftermarket air intake for the engine. It was also designed to would with the first Gen 5.9L, 12 Valve Cummins engine 1989 - mid 1998.

So if you have one of my Crankcase Breather Vents, that goes on the oil filler neck, the you can run a 0.75 inch hose from the Crankcase Breather Vent to the Intake Velocity Stack and re-burn the crankcase fume/vapors through the engine. Saving you from have to vent to atmosphere, or to an oil style catch can.

Disclaimer: I’m a maker not a mechanic. I had a mechanical shop ask me to design this product and from the test trucks that are running this have had no issues. If you find that you oil leaks are worse or engine is running rough I would remove the parts and have a mechanical shop see if there is a bigger underlying issue.
